We announced in March last year, that for the first time, we were supporting British Cycling’s National Cyclo-cross Championships which were being held in Derby.

The event took place over the weekend of 11th and 12th January and we visited on Saturday 11th to see the Youth race … where I presented the winning Under 16 girl, Megan James, with the Arthur Gamble trophy, her medal and her National Champion’s jersey!

The event was shown on British Eurosport last night and will be shown again over the next few weeks.

We offer two levels of standard boiler service – our Gas Safe Registered engineers will carry out the the following tests:

INTERIM SERVICE	FULL SERVICE
Our Interim Service is perfect for boilers we’ve installed in the last few years. It will maintain your manufacturer’s warranty and ensure that you boiler is working at its most efficient.	Our Full Service is more comprehensive that the Interim and is more suitable for older boilers or boilers we haven’t seen before.
Inspection of flue system Check ventilation Check boiler casing/position Inspection of gas meter Test gas rate of boiler Flue gas analysis (Required by regulation as of 1/4/2014) Fully completed safety Gas Safe inspection sheet Complete boiler warranty documentation*.	Check all flue joints for leaks & tightness Check ventilation Inspect gas meter Full strip & clean of heat exchanger, burner unit , air intake system Full check of heating system and controls. System air removal System magnetic filter clean & empty Burner pressure test Set gas rate Flue gas test analysis (Required by regulation as of 1/4/2014) Full check of system & radiators Fully completed safety Gas Safe inspection sheet Complete boiler warranty documentation*.

* Your manufacturers benchmark log book will be completed and signed – this is a requirement to keep your manufacturers warranty.

** Any parts required will be charged extra – but only after proper discussion – we won’t do anything without your agreement.
