So, it’s a great idea … but how does The Heating Expert service work?
When you contact The Heating Expert – whether it’s for a boiler upgrade or a full new central heating installation – you can expect value, service and quality.
Step by step:
This list is a guide, and not precise because there’s no limit to the amount of support you can get from The Heating Expert:
- Home visit – I’ll come and discuss your requirements
- Full written quote – with options and a full breakdown of prices
- A personal follow up call.

Quote agreed and the go ahead is given
- Installation date agreed and confirmed
- Project plan is drawn up (Example Project Plan pdf)
- Your boiler, radiators, radiator valves, and other items ordered
- A fitting team dedicated to your installation
- Boiler, radiators etc received (stored in garage if possible)
- Your deposit payment due
- Finalise any smaller details, eg. matching bricks needed, etc.
Day 1 of your installation
- I’ll introduce you to your installation team
- Make gas, electric and water safe
- Removal of existing boiler, radiators tanks etc
- Remove old piping
- Re-route any existing pipes as needed
- Hang new radiators (if needed)
- Fix new boiler in place
- Run utilities to new boiler
- Install MagnaClean and scale reducer
Day 2 of your installation
- Complete radiator connection
- Re-lay any carpet or floor boards disturbed
- Install condenser drain
- Make good brick work with matching bricks
- Install and commission room thermostat
- Commission system in line with manufacturer’s guidelines
- System flush
- Remove, clean and refit MagnaClean filter
- Fully heat house and observe prolonged system test
- Remove dust sheets, vacuum clean and remove all waste
- Completion of warranty paper work and explain service needs
- Explanation of system and handover
- My completion visit
- Payment of final instalment
About one week on …
- My follow-up call to check that your happy
About 11 months on …
- My call to arrange your first annual service – to ensure your boiler remains covered by it’s warranty.
